At 8 years old, he was diagnosed as "learning disabled" and his report cards repeatedly stated, "Lacks what it takes to succeed." But he was determined to push through those limits.
He went on to earn a business degree, founded a successful health club franchise, and is now the bestselling author of the book Extreme Success (Simon & Schuster).
Today, Rich has made it his life’s work to help other people push their limits, improve their performance, and expand their success. He has appeared on every major television network for his views on how to take action and stay focused on what really matters. Rich’s work has also been featured in USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, and even on the Dr. Laura show. His diverse clientele includes IBM, the American Management
Association, Century 21, Morgan Stanley and the United States Army.
Rich is the past-president of the Professional & Personal Coaches Association and is a former vice president of the International Coach Federation (ICF). He also holds one of the ICF’s first Master Certified Coach credentials.
Now — when it comes to pushing the limits — Rich walks his talk. He was a competitor in ESPN’s X-Games, he’s a licensed skydiver, an experienced rock climber, and he has even bungee jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge!
