260 word bio for Rich Fettke
When he
was growing up, Rich Fettke was far from what you'd call a
success.
At 8 years
old, he was diagnosed as "learning disabled" and
his report cards repeatedly stated, "Lacks what it takes
to succeed." But he was determined to push through those
limits.
He went
on to earn a business degree, founded a successful health
club franchise, and is now the bestselling author of the book
Extreme Success (Simon & Schuster).
Today,
Rich has made it his life's work to help other people push
their limits, improve their performance, and expand their
success. He has appeared on every major television network
for his views on how to take action and stay focused on what
really matters. Rich's work has also been featured in USA
Today, the Wall Street Journal, and even on the Dr. Laura
show. His diverse clientele includes IBM, the American Management
Association, Century 21, Morgan Stanley and the United States
Army.
Rich is
the past-president of the Professional & Personal Coaches
Association and is a former vice president of the International
Coach Federation (ICF). He also holds one of the ICF's first
Master Certified Coach credentials.
Now --
when it comes to pushing the limits -- Rich walks his talk.
He was a competitor in ESPN's X-Games, he's a licensed skydiver,
an experienced rock climber, and he has even bungee jumped
off the Golden Gate Bridge!
Rich enjoys
working and playing in the San Francisco Bay Area with his
wife Kathy, their two daughters, Karina and Krista, and Zen,
their goofy dog.
