Let's Wrap Up the Year

It's that time of year again. Time to look back on the year that just passed to help clarity the learning, the successes, the growth, and the meaning of the past twelve months.

Below are a few of the questions I ask my coaching clients (and myself) at the end of each year. I hope they assist you in the process of completing
2005 and preparing for 2006.

Give yourself permission to take some time over the next week to reflect and record your thoughts. You might want someone to join you. I do this process with my wife, Kathy, and it's always an enjoyable and connecting time together. Here you go...

1. Looking back at the year 2005, what was the overall theme for you?
(Here's another way to look at this: If they were to make a movie about your life in the year 2005, what would the title be?)

2. What were your three biggest wins in the year 2005?

3. What were the top three lessons you learned in the year 2005?

4. What one personal quality did you most develop in the year 2005?
(For example: patience, boldness, courage, calmness, integrity, humor, etc.)

5. What would you like to "let go of" as you complete 2005 and get ready for 2006?

As this year comes to a close, I want to thank you for all of your support, feedback, ideas and inspiration. I wish you much joy, love and peace this holiday season and in the new year.

Keep reaching high!
